What file formats can I send you?

Whatever you have on hand: photos of hand sketches, JPG/PNG/HEIC, PDF, DWG/DXF, KMZ/KML, spreadsheets (XLSX/CSV), or a ZIP of mixed files. A clear photo of a hand-drawn sketch is genuinely enough to start a request.

What formats do you deliver in?

Standard CAD and GIS formats appropriate to the discipline — DWG/DXF for drafting, KMZ for network records, PDF for permit-ready sheet sets — plus BOM/BOQ spreadsheets where relevant. We confirm your preferred formats and standards during scoping.

How many revision rounds are included?

Accepted Answer

Every quote states the number of included revision rounds up front, based on project scope and complexity. Additional rounds beyond that are quoted separately so there are no surprises.

Question 4

What happens if the scope changes mid-project?

Accepted Answer

We re-scope and requote the delta rather than absorbing it silently or stalling the project. You'll always know the cost and time impact of a change before we proceed.

Question 5

Will you sign an NDA?

Yes. NDA requirement is one of the options in the quotation request form, and we're comfortable working under your standard NDA or ours. Confidentiality is the default posture for every project, NDA or not.

Question 6

Who at Pathworks sees my files?

Accepted Answer

Only the assigned engineers and drafters working on your project, plus the internal reviewer on our quality-control step. Files are never shared outside the delivery team without your consent.

Question 7

How is my data protected in transit and at rest?

Accepted Answer

Uploads are encrypted in transit and at rest, scanned for malware on receipt, and accessible only to authorized Pathworks staff. Retention periods are set per our data-handling policy and files are deleted on request after project close-out.

Question 8

Can you work to our internal drawing standards and templates?

Accepted Answer

Yes — send us your CAD templates, layer standards, or drawing conventions with the request and we'll draft to them. Where none are specified, we follow the relevant IEC/NEC or local code and standard industry conventions for the discipline.

What payment methods and currencies do you support?

Accepted Answer

We invoice in USD, EUR or GBP by default and can accommodate other currencies on request. Payment is by bank transfer or card; per-project work is typically invoiced on delivery, retainers are billed monthly.

How do you handle time-zone differences?

Accepted Answer

Our distributed team covers multiple time zones by design, so work is often progressing while your own office is offline. Every project gets a named point of contact and a stated response-time window regardless of the time-zone gap.

What does your QA/QC process look like?

Every deliverable is checked by a second, independent engineer before it goes out — for technical accuracy, standards compliance, and drawing hygiene. Nothing ships from a single set of eyes.

Do I need finished drawings to request a quote?

Accepted Answer

No. A photo of a hand-drawn sketch, a marked-up map, or a rough spreadsheet is enough to start. We'll ask clarifying questions during scoping if we need more detail.
